Corpus Christi's brick ranches and two-stories sit on concrete slabs with vented attics that run 140 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit most of the year, carrying ductwork through salt-laden Gulf humidity that never really stops. Spray foam insulation and air sealing are the tools that stop the heat leak, the condensation, and the bills that come with it.
Since 2012, our team has worked through every neighborhood in Corpus Christi and the surrounding area, from the older frame and stucco homes of Bayview and Del Mar to the brick two-stories of the Westside, Molina, and Windsor Park, and the raised homes on Padre Island and the barrier islands that took the brunt of Hurricane Harvey. We know what works in this climate because we have seen what fails, and we explain it plainly.
Spray Foam Insulation in Corpus Christi (78401)
The challenge in Corpus Christi is not winter cold. It is summer heat and humidity that arrive in May and do not leave until October, an attic temperature that climbs past 150 degrees, and ductwork routed through that space that has to be cooled before the air reaches your bedroom. A slab-on-grade foundation means no basement, no crawl space ventilation, and no relief from ground moisture. Old insulation compresses, gets wet from condensation, and stops working. New construction and remodels often leave rim joists, band joists, and garage walls uninsulated, and the wall cavities in older homes were never filled at all. Metal buildings and boat barns in the county and around Robstown, Sinton, and Kingsville sweat on the inside when humid Gulf air meets a cold metal roof at night.
Spray foam insulation stops the air leak that makes those problems worse. Closed cell foam is the choice for attics and sealed roof decks because it carries the weight and the R-value in a thin layer, and open cell foam works for walls and crawl spaces where vapor management matters more than density. We have been installing both in Corpus Christi since 2012.

How a Job Works in Corpus Christi
We start with a free on-site assessment. We walk your attic, crawl space, garage, or the walls you want to seal, measure the area, check what is already there, and look for moisture, old insulation that has to come out, or access problems that change the scope. We give you a written estimate with the R-value and thickness we are specifying, the type of foam (open or closed cell), the square footage or board feet, and the price. No surprises.
On the day of the work, our team sets up mechanical ventilation in the space being sprayed. We apply the foam in controlled passes, holding the manufacturer ratio and drum temperature, and we keep the space ventilated for the full cure. If you are living in the house, we set a re-entry window of twenty-four to forty-eight hours before that room is occupied again. If old insulation has to come out first, we remove it and haul it away. If a roof is leaking or a crawl space has standing water, we do not spray. We fix the moisture first or we walk away.
When we are done, we clean up and walk through the space with you. Your property stays clean.
Attic spray foam in Corpus Christi typically runs from $1.50 per square foot for open cell to $1.20 per board foot for closed cell, depending on the thickness and R-value you need and what is already in the attic. A 1,200 square foot attic with open cell foam to R-30 is usually in the $1,800 to $2,200 range. Closed cell is thinner and denser, so the cost per square foot is higher but you need less thickness. Wall injection foam for a closed cavity runs from $2 per square foot. Crawl spaces start at $2,500. Rim joist and band joist sealing starts at $650. Insulation removal runs from $950 depending on what is there and how much of it. The biggest cost factors are the area to cover, the R-value and thickness you specify, whether you need old insulation removed first, and how easy we can access the space.
